Real businesses, now running on systems built for them.

The same pattern runs through every one of these: disconnected systems and no clear picture, plus a real budget to respect — turned into one platform, alignment across the operation, and a phased roadmap the owner could actually afford. Client names stay confidential and these are just a few examples, but the work speaks for itself.

Case 01 · Multi-location field services

“Everything was held together with duct tape.”

Multi-year platform rebuild · ongoing fractional technical director

The situation

The business ran on a patchwork of disconnected tools and manual processes — one system for scheduling, another for time, compliance tracked on the side, reporting assembled by hand. Leadership couldn’t get a reliable picture of their own operation, and the systems they depended on weren’t built to scale.

What we did

We replaced the patchwork with a single platform that runs the business end to end: work orders, multiple clock-in methods, payroll, compliance tracking, photo documentation, HR reporting, executive dashboards, client portals, and analytics — all connected. Not all at once; we started with the most urgent gaps and expanded as trust and stability grew.

The outcome

Disconnected processes became one operational platform, and dependence on third-party tools dropped. Ownership, operations, HR, and finance now work from the same live picture instead of chasing it. A one-off fix became an ongoing partnership guiding where to invest and how to grow.

We turned a collection of duct-taped systems into the platform the whole company now runs on.

Case 02 · Field service & engineering

“I need everyone — office, field, and clients — looking at the same information.”

Custom operational platform · ongoing roadmap & maintenance partnership

The situation

The owner was running a growing service business on disconnected systems, and the real cost was misalignment. Office, field engineers, and clients were all working from different information. He wanted one source of truth — and he had a real budget to respect, so building “everything at once” was never an option.

What we did

We built one platform where projects live, with role-based access for office staff, engineers, and clients. Clients log in to see invoices, updates, and project status. Engineers clock in and out with location visibility for management. Files are organized in the cloud. Payroll and reporting export cleanly. Just as important: we phased the work so he improved steadily instead of overspending up front.

The outcome

Everyone — office, field, and clients — now works from the same information. The owner got enterprise-grade operational visibility on a small-business budget, and a long-term plan for growing the platform one sensible step at a time.

We got the whole operation onto the same page — without blowing the budget.

Case 03 · Educational products

“We need to sell online, but our products are more complicated than a normal store.”

Custom e-commerce platform build + team training

The situation

This company needed to sell online, but an off-the-shelf store wouldn’t fit. Their business spans physical products, installation hardware and services, pilot programs, and subscriptions — and they needed non-technical staff to run the whole thing day to day without calling a developer for every change.

What we did

We built a custom e-commerce platform: a customer-facing storefront, a full administrative back office, secure role-based access, product and inventory management, marketing and pricing pages, Stripe payments, and subscription support. Then we trained their team to run it themselves — managing products, pricing, and inventory independently.

The outcome

They got a store built around how they actually sell — products, services, and subscriptions together — instead of forcing their business into a template. And because we invested in the admin tools and training, their own staff operate and grow it without ongoing developer dependence.

We built them a store that fits how they actually sell — and handed them the keys to run it.

The through-line

The pattern in everything we build

Disconnected systems and no clear picture, plus a real budget — turned into one platform, alignment across the whole operation, and a phased roadmap the owner could afford.

That’s the difference between a dev shop and a partner: we help you decide what not to build yet, so every dollar goes to the thing that moves your business forward.
